Congratulations to our Member of the week the Kitchen Theatre Company (KTC)! KTC is Central New York’s off-Broadway theater that aims to create bold theatre within an intimate space that engages community and sparks important conversation. KTC’s intimate 99-seat theater is a LEED-certified building on West State Street in downtown Ithaca, New York. Leading Kitchen Theatre Company in its 30th anniversary season are Producing Artistic Director, Rebecca Bradshaw, and Managing Director, Cary Bland Simpson.
Critically acclaimed and nationally recognized, Kitchen Theatre Company is a professional company and operates year-round, specializing in regional and world premiere plays and musicals. They offer various programs and initiatives such as Pay What You Want rush ticketing, free childcare performances, and BIPOC Community Nights. KTC was the first not-for-profit organization to win the David R. Strong Memorial “Small Business of the Year” Award from the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce. Listen to the interview here.
