The Society for Human Resource Management of Tompkins County (SHRMTC) is a non-profit, individual membership association for human resource management professionals. The local chapter meets once monthly, providing a forum, through breakfast meetings and presentations, where Human Resource representatives can network with one another to enhance professional growth and career development. Supervisors and managers as well as Human Resource professionals will find the monthly meeting topics timely and helpful.  Monthly programs are open to members and non-members, with a fee charged to non-members.   SHRMTC also provides many educational opportunities for HR professionals including HR Certification programs and information about regional and national HR conferences.

SHRMTC currently has over 125 members made up of Human Resource professionals representing a diverse group of businesses from Ithaca and its surrounding areas: large, small, non-profit, public and private, manufacturing, food service, human service and education amongst others.Affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the local chapter membership offers a range of services and programs that can broaden human resources skills and enhance overall professional development.
