The state of New York has launched an $800 million grant program to help small businesses and microenterprises that have experienced economic hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Tompkins Chamber has partnered with Chamber Alliance of New York State (CANYS) and Ithaca Area Economic Development (IAED) to co-host our L.E.A.R.N webinar on the New York State COVID-19 Pandemic Small Business Recovery Grant Program.

During the webinar, our presenter Matthew Kennedy, Economic Development Program Specialist with Empire State Development, explained the eligibility and documentation requirements of this program and answer your questions about the opportunity to apply.

What Is It:
The NYS COVID-19 Pandemic Small Business Recovery Grant Program was created to provide flexible grant assistance to currently viable small businesses, microbusinesses, and for-profit independent arts and cultural organizations who have experienced economic hardship due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
